The Zero Point is an instant positioning and clamping system, ideal for the handling and precise, fast, and safe clamping of equipment on machine tool pallets. It is a “normally closed” system that uses springs to lock the pull stud through internal balls, while compressed, filtered, and lubricated air is used for release.
 
The system guarantees a repeatability within 0.005 mm, allowing extremely precise repositioning even after repeated assembly and disassembly cycles. The integrated elastic collet also effectively compensates for center distance errors and thermal expansion, ensuring consistently stable and reliable clamping.
 
All components are made of hardened and ground steel, ensuring high wear resistance, long-term precision, and extended service life. The system’s quality is confirmed by years of in-house testing under real operating conditions.
 
Finally, the Zero Point system enables immediate start-up, allowing quick verification of fixture and support accuracy, helping to reduce setup times and increase overall production efficiency.

FEATURES

The multiple Zero Point system (Art.664-665) allows, thanks to the solid integral elastic collet, a lateral translation, that solves problems of centre distances and variations caused by the temperature. The central reference point remains steady accuracy within microns.

The Positioning Keys on the Zero Point Body allow the correct and safe positioning of the fixture or the workpiece you need to machine.

The DOUBLE EFFECT, possible with the single zero point units (hermetic), allows to get clamping results much higher than the normal thanks to the non-return valve. When the double effect is operated the air adds a pneumatic clamping power which supports and increases the normal clamping through springs.

The Pull Studs ensure a correct alignement and positioning of the fixtures and can be also assembled directly on the workpiece.
They can be male or female according to the application needs
